For the 3rd time Mekong Plus will have its own team at the 20km of Brussels. This year will be special. The famous Jamel Balhi joins the team. He has already run a dozen times around the world (www.coureur-du-monde.org). In 2008 he came to run with us in Vietnam, with thousands of other people.
The Vietnamese do not want to stay behind. Every year tens of thousands of them run for solidarity. In September 2008 they were 79.000 ! Pupils and adults. They also collected 5000 euros for the scholarship fund.
Jamel Balhi will give a conference with a slide show, and will tell his unusual adventures around the world, Vietnam included. He gives full support to the Vietnamese who demonstrate their solidarity for the poorest. The exact time and location will be announced later on this page.
